Let “Em Run

I have always loved horses. As a child they were the first animals that I drew and painted and all my images convey my love and admiration for the horses’ beauty, power and grace.

When I start a new painting cycle the horse is how I choose to begin and warm up. This image was an experiment in oil paint using small brush strokes on a reddish background. Capturing the energy and vitality of wild mustangs was the goal. The other paintings in this gallery also are experimental using multimedia and one with gold foil.

Each of these original art prints are hand-made using a unique blend of inks in our home studio in Bellingham, WA. Prints are created on Epson 6000 Watercolor Texture Paper with Permanent UV Resistant Epson Inks.
